Nestled on the west bank of the Cumberland River in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood, a much-anticipated reinvention of the century old Neuhoff property is underway. What was once a meat-packing facility will soon become a 14-acre mixed-use site featuring a brewery, a 15-story office tower, and high-end apartment living. As the technology integrator on the project team, Aptitude will manage each aspect of building connectivity, which includes fully integrated life safety and security systems, Wi-Fi, active network infrastructure and equipment, and the integration of high-tech audiovisual systems – including meeting rooms, a movie room, and music room with state-of-the-art surround sound.
This mixed-use waterfront space will combine historical elements, preserving the external structure of the meatpacking facility built in the 1920s, along with new construction. The multi-phase project is expected to be complete in early 2024 and is led by developer New City Properties, with JE Dunn Construction as the project builder.
